Property Litigation / Social Housing Solicitor
An established, well-respected and developing firm with a fast-growing property client base (including Housing Associations and Financial Institutions) requires a Property Litigation Solicitor/FILEX. The successful applicant will have the skills and experience to deal with a varied caseload of property-related litigation to include: Landlord and Tenant; general housing issues (eg rent arrears and service charge collection); shared ownership litigation; general property disputes and professional negligence claims arising from property transactions.Attributes required· 3 years' relevant experience · excellent communication skills, both oral and written · ability to provide high quality advice to Clients from all sectors across a broad range of issues · good drafting skills · willingness to undertake advocacy when required · ability to form good relationships with Clients and colleagues; working as part of an effective team · good IT skills including ability to utilise a Case Management system · commercial attitude with ability to practice good financial management of files and caseload · ability to work on own initiative · desire to play an active part in the marketing and development of the Firm.
