Property Litigation Associate - Birmingham

We are currently looking to recruit a Property Litigation lawyer with 5+ years' post qualification experience to join our Property Group. Candidates should be familiar with the Landlord & Tenant 1954 Act renewal process and procedures, summary possession and other trespass claims, be confident in handling disputes concerning rights of way, easements, restrictive covenants and similar. They will have a good working knowledge of all the usual standard landlord and tenant Acts and Law of Property Act statues. They will need a good working knowledge of insolvency law as it applies to real property and should be confident in dealing with owners and managers of very large estates and portfolios. The successful candidates will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional practice. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware, client focussed and enthusiastic about business development. They will be team players with an interest in and willingness to supervise junior members of the team. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
